Tickets Now on Sale for Atlantic Theater's Roller Derby Comedy The Jammer

Tickets are now available for the New York premiere of Rolin Jones’ The Jammer, a play about professional roller derbies in 1950s Brooklyn. Directed by Jason Gay, the Atlantic Theater Company production will star Patch Darragh, Dan Domingues, Christopher Jackson and Billy Eugene. The Jammer will run at off-Broadway's Atlantic Stage 2 January 9 through February 10, with an opening set for January 22.

The Jammer tells the tale of Jack Lovington (Darragh), a lovelorn Brooklynite, who needs to find himself and stake a claim in the world. When he joins up with the rough and tumble Brooklyn Brown Devils, little does Jack know that his life is about to be turned completely upside down. Also featured in the cast are Keira Naughton as Beth Nutterman, Kate Rigg as Cindy Gums, Jeanine Serralles as Lindy Batello, Greg Stuhr as Bert Fineberg and Todd Weeks as Father Kosciusko. 

The Jammer will feature set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jessica Ford, lighting design by Paul Whitaker and original music and sound design by Broken Chord.
